Born in Great Britain, the Lane twin brothers found a talent for drawing and painting at a young age. After school they both began teaching themselves to draw and paint, having always wanted to become successful artists.

Isiah and Benjamin Lane were fortunate enough to receive much encouragement from their artistic parents, and soon became highly acclaimed self-taught artists. The identical twins have a particular interest in lifestyles of a by-gone era and specialise in images of signs and typical scenes from the past. This is a result of their yearning for the old days. The twins have become members of a leading group of artists which specialises in nostalgic scenes.
