Lights

There are artists gifted with genius of light.  With a stroke of the brush, they are able to light up a canvas, making it incandescent.  Bernadette TRIKI is one of these artists.  She gives us deep insight into minute details, a seemly insignificant composition, and unveils its mystery.  With grace and talent, the painter depicts the intimacy of a blossoming tree branch or an old book.  The play of shade and light is marvellously executed, and the pallette of colours, made up of browns and reds, is skilfully elegant.
